Fuel Injection Systems

Conventional pump-and-nozzle or common rail systems?
We provide custom solutions, whether an overhaul, on-site, testing, fabrication, or repair.

INJEGOV has a long experience in fuel equipment repairs. We have a fully equipped fuel systems department with special equipment and benches for diagnosis, repair, and testing, all combined with a library of original drawings from major manufacturers. Additionally, we can supply you with a complete list of spare parts. Moreover, our highly skilled staff is constantly training to keep up with the latest fuel injection equipment technology developments.

Using high-precision CNC milling centers, lathes, and grinders, we can recondition fuel pump elements by fabricating oversize plungers and honing barrels.

Fuel Pump Reconditioning

We have the know-how and equipment to recondition all two-stroke and four-stroke marine and stationary fuel pumps, including single, block, and inline pumps.

Fuel pumps are critical components of the marine 2 and 4 stroke marine engines. Due to continuous operation on the engine, conditions of fuel pumps deteriorate, leading to poor combustion quality, increased fuel consumption, and wear of engine components.

When fuel pump reconditioning is due according to the maintenance schedule provided by the engine builder or when signs of improper operation appear ( increased leakage, harmful combustion quality, etc.), turning to Injegov is the right course of action.

The reconditioning process:

Our fuel-injection specialists can remove, reassemble and adjust the timing of the fuel pumps on your engines, providing a fixed cost turnkey solution.

Advantages of fuel pump reconditioning

Fuel Injector Reconditioning

Fuel injectors are key fuel injection components of marine engines.

Highly sophisticated components inside the fuel injector assembly ensure the proper delivery of fuel in the combustion chamber for a safe and efficient combustion process.

The poor condition of the fuel injectors leads not only to increased fuel consumption but is also detrimental to the overall health and operation of the engine. A leaking injector may result in excessive carbon deposit build-up in the cylinder or even significant damage to the engine due to misfire or knocking.

When fuel injectors reconditioning is due according to the maintenance schedule provided by the engine builder or when signs of improper operation appear (insufficient atomization of fuel, constant leakage, carbon build-up, bad combustion quality, etc.), turning to Injegov is the right course of action.

We have the know-how and equipment to recondition all 2 and 4 stroke marine and stationary fuel injectors, including common rail and solenoid energized injectors.

The reconditioning process is the following:
  • Clean, visually inspect and measure -calibrate all parts
  • A thorough inspection of key components such as spindle guides, nozzles, non-return valves, etc.
  • Recondition spindle guides, nozzles, non-return valves
  • Lap – polish all sealing surfaces
  • Renew parts that fail to pass dimensional, quality, or running tests.
  • Running a test on a dedicated test bench

Advantages of reconditioning fuel injectors

Plunger and Barrel reconditioning

The plunger and barrel assembly is perhaps the most critical part of the engine’s fuel injection system.

The poor condition of the Plunger and Barrel may lead to increased fuel oil consumption, wrong timing, even damage to the engine.

When your plunger and Barrel get out of tolerance, the expensive choice of replacement is not the only one. Reconditioning is possible at a fraction of the cost of new ones, making your plunger and barrels as good as new.

Due to our investments in state-of-the-art CNC lathe and grinding machines, we keep a large stock of ready-to-fit plungers, minimizing reconditioning period.

Reconditioning is possible at a fraction of the cost of new ones, making your plunger and barrels as good as new.

The reconditioning process is the following:
  • Clean, visually inspect, and measure -calibrate parts
  • Hone the Barrel and fabricate an oversize plunger
  • Apply suitable hardening procedure to the new plunger
  • Grind the new plunger to the final dimensions and fit to the barell
  • Lap – polish all sealing surfaces
  • Apply anti-corrosion protection and pack in a single package
