HIMSEN 6H21/32 Auxiliary Engine Overhaul
In this project, INJEGOV carried out a complete HIMSEN 6H21/32 auxiliary engine overhaul, including dismantling, inspection, calibration and reassembly of critical components, in full compliance with OEM specifications and operational requirements.
This HIMSEN 6H21/32 auxiliary engine overhaul was carried out combining onboard execution and workshop reconditioning, ensuring proper generator performance and operational reliability.
INJEGOV successfully completed a full-scope overhaul and reconditioning project for a GE-HIMSEN 8H25/33 auxiliary engine, restoring operational reliability, extending component lifespan, and ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
Scope of Work
After dismantling all major components, including cylinder heads, pistons with connecting rods, and fuel pumps, all parts were transferred to the workshop for cleaning, calibration, and inspection.
Cylinder heads were fully stripped from valves and fittings, cleaned and checked by dye penetration, followed by hydraulic pressure testing and reassembly with new spare parts.
Pistons and connecting rods were dismantled and inspected, including pins, bushes, liners, and grooves, followed by calibration and reassembly with new piston rings.
Fuel pumps were overhauled, calibrated, and reassembled, including adjustment of fuel timing.
Crankshaft deflection measurements were carried out before and after the overhaul to verify proper alignment and operational condition.
