About us

Injegov SA is a leading mechanical repair and spare parts supply company with a strong technical background, skilled personnel, advanced machinery and workshop facilities in Piraeus, Greece.

History

Injegov SA was founded in 1976 by a group of experienced mechanical and marine engineers as a repair workshop specialized in Fuel Pumps, Fuel Injectors, and Engine Governors for internal combustion engines.

Over the years, due to the professionalism, know-how, and exceptional service quality, Injegov’s range of activities expanded to cover all kinds of mechanical repairs, machining works, reconditioning and spare parts supply for engines, turbines, and auxiliary machinery for the sake of marine, energy and, oil & gas industries.

At the moment, having 45 years of continuous international presence, the company has transformed from a small mechanical repair shop in Piraeus into a one-stop shop by gradually expanding into 3500sqm state-of-art workshop facilities.

Additionally, by employing approximately 100 technicians, Injegov offers to clients the safety of a big company combined with the versatility of a small one. After all, as much as we have grown, our values remain the same.

Approximately one hundred experienced Mechanical Engineers and Technicians work at Injegov’s state-of-art workshop facilities in Piraeus, Greece.

Thanasis Kalampokas

Thanasis Kalampokas is Injegov’s CEO and Co-founder, responsible for the strategic direction, vision, growth, and performance of our company. He holds a degree in Mechanical & Marine Engineering (MEng) from the University of Sunderland and has graduated as a Marine Engineer at Merchant Marine Academy. He served from Apprentice to Superintendent Engineer to various companies. Nowadays, a maritime veteran he carries half a century of wisdom and acts as a critical asset for the next generation of management, bearing more than 40 years of managing and mechanical engineering experience.

Managing Director

Alexandros Kalampokas

Bringing forth the experience of an accomplished Naval Architect & Marine Engineer, with several years of experience in the Marine Industry, Alexandros Kalampokas holds the position of Injegov’s Managing Director. His studies at the University of Glasgow, incorporating elements of mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, maintenance, and operation of marine vessels and structures, embody an excellent coordinator of Injegov’s Technical Department.

Antonis Kalampokas

Antonis Kalampokas studied both Law, Economics, and Political Science and Shipping, Trade, and Finance. Having more than ten years of experience as a Manager, he is responsible for the company’s increasing development. In addition, he is responsible for the design and implementation of business plans and strategies to attain company goals. More than a supervisor for Injegov’s personnel, he is the key persona for maintaining relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers.
