Injegov SA is a leading mechanical repair and spare parts supply company with a strong technical background, skilled personnel, advanced machinery and workshop facilities in Piraeus, Greece.

History

Injegov SA was founded in 1976 by a group of experienced mechanical and marine engineers as a repair workshop specialized in Fuel Pumps, Fuel Injectors, and Engine Governors for internal combustion engines.

Over the years, due to the professionalism, know-how, and exceptional service quality, Injegov’s range of activities expanded to cover all kinds of mechanical repairs, machining works, reconditioning and spare parts supply for engines, turbines, and auxiliary machinery for the sake of marine, energy and, oil & gas industries.

At the moment, having 45 years of continuous international presence, the company has transformed from a small mechanical repair shop in Piraeus into a one-stop shop by gradually expanding into 3500sqm state-of-art workshop facilities.

Additionally, by employing approximately 100 technicians, Injegov offers to clients the safety of a big company combined with the versatility of a small one. After all, as much as we have grown, our values remain the same.

INJEGOV consists of a highly dynamic and specialized team, that accumulates each person’s strength and expertise, to create reliable and cost-effective, customized solutions for each of our customers. Approximately one hundred experienced Mechanical Engineers and Technicians work at Injegov’s state-of-art workshop facilities in Piraeus, Greece.

Thanasis Kalampokas

Thanasis Kalampokas is Injegov’s CEO and Co-founder, responsible for the strategic direction, vision, growth, and performance of our company. He holds a degree in Mechanical & Marine Engineering (MEng) from the University of Sunderland and has graduated as a Marine Engineer at Merchant Marine Academy. He served from Apprentice to Superintendent Engineer to various companies. Nowadays, a maritime veteran he carries half a century of wisdom and acts as a critical asset for the next generation of management, bearing more than 40 years of managing and mechanical engineering experience.

Alexandros Kalampokas

Bringing forth the experience of an accomplished Naval Architect & Marine Engineer, with several years of experience in the Marine Industry, Alexandros Kalampokas holds the position of Injegov’s Managing Director. His studies at the University of Glasgow, incorporating elements of mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, maintenance, and operation of marine vessels and structures, embody an excellent coordinator of Injegov’s Technical Department.

Antonis Kalampokas

Antonis Kalampokas studied both Law, Economics, and Political Science and Shipping, Trade, and Finance. Having more than ten years of experience as a Manager, he is responsible for the company’s increasing development. In addition, he is responsible for the design and implementation of business plans and strategies to attain company goals. More than a supervisor for Injegov’s personnel, he is the key persona for maintaining relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers.

Workshop Manager

Marios Andreopoulos

For as long as 25 years now, Marios Andreopoulos is Injegov’s Workshop Manager. He started working with us in 1995 as a technician and soon got promoted to the company’s Foreman. Being an Engineering graduate from Merchant Marine Academy he has worked with various well-established marine companies. Now, with more than 40 years of hands-on experience, he is our Worksop Manager. Part of his job is the supervision and guidance of our trained personnel, as well as functioning as a liaison between front-line workers and upper management and overseeing all projects from a to z, ensuring safety regulation compliance.

Senior Spare Parts Operator

Dimitra Zabaka

As Senior Spare Parts Operator at INJEGOV, Dimitra Zabaka plays a key role in managing spare parts procurement, logistics, and customer service. With extensive experience in the maritime industry, she ensures the smooth processing of orders, supplier negotiations, and after-sales support. Her expertise in coordinating spare parts operations, handling warranty claims, and optimizing supply chain efficiency contributes to INJEGOV’s high standards of service. Dimitra’s commitment to precision and customer satisfaction makes her an essential part of the team, reinforcing the company’s reputation for reliability and excellence.

Accounting Head

Eftaxia Varsami

Being a member of our team for more than 17 years, Varsami Eftaxia is now Head of the Accounting Department. She oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, monitores and analyzes accounting data and produces financial reports or statements. Moreover, she establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles. She studied Accounting at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and carries more than 30 years of experience in this field.

Technical Manager

Manolis Charamis

Manolis Charamis is an experienced Manufacturing Engineer having graduated from Sivitanidios Technical School. As the reconditioning and manufacturing expert of our company, he expertizes on machine tools and reconditioning processes. Before joining our team, he was the benefactor of various companies and mechanical engineering workshops. Nowadays he oversees production and operations, customer relations, and implements new technologies and processes optimization.

Panagiotis Giantsis

Panagiotis Giantsis, with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from NTUA, and more than 15 years of experience in the maritime, is now the Technical Manager at INJEGOV SA. Having served from 2006 at various prestigious oil and marine companies makes him a go-to person to handle Injegov’s complex projects, create quotations, and communicate with clients and vendors. He is also responsible for the flawless execution of projects, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within the scope and our company’s policy. Additionally, he is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.

Angelos Laskaridis

With a BA in Mechanical Engineering, an MA in Automotive Engineering, and an MBA, Aggelos Laskaridis has vast experience designing, planning, and executing technical training and support projects based on solid academic & hands-on engineering expertise. Having a sales-oriented and customer-centric approach, as INJEGOV’s Sales Manager, he is responsible for implementing a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and continues our strong presence.

Katerina Karletsou

As a Senior Spare Parts Operator at INJEGOV, Katerina Karletsou ensures seamless spare parts management, customer support, and sales coordination. With a background in communication and marketing, she effectively engages with clients, processes inquiries, and optimizes operations for efficiency and accuracy. Her expertise in market research, CRM management, and logistics enhances INJEGOV’s ability to deliver top-tier solutions. Katerina’s analytical skills and customer-focused approach make her a valuable asset to the team, reinforcing the company’s commitment to excellence.

INJEGOV owns and operates a modern and fully equipped mechanical workshop in Piraeus, Greece. Our facilities’ proximity to busy shipping lanes of East Med and the large port of Piraeus enables us to offer high quality and fast workshop support exactly when and where is needed.
